Hello

Welcome. I’m Erin Oliver, Library Media Specialist at Alvin Brooks Middle School.

The Library and Innovation Center is an instructional space where students read, explore ideas, and learn to use information with confidence. My work focuses on clear, supportive instruction that connects to classroom learning and responds to student needs. I collaborate closely with teachers to design lessons and experiences that help students think critically, communicate clearly, and build skills they can use across content areas.

My role blends literacy, research, digital citizenship, and makerspace learning. Whether students are working on a class project, learning a new research skill, or creating something in the Innovation Center, my goal is consistent: to support student growth and serve as a reliable instructional partner for teachers.
